Greenhouse and nursery operations are well known to belong in the heavy end of the energy consumption industries. Historical volatility of oil and gas prices have directly impacted earnings and from time to time actually been live threatening to the industry. The coveted prize was announced at the 66th AIPH Annual Congress gala dinner in Qingdao, China, on 17 September 2014.
